To compliment the interior of Mr.
Ken Roberts' home in Baton Rouge, Jaubert chose to paint his version of
Lord Leighton's 19th century
painting, Captive Aromache.
The classical interior
decoration provided an opportunity for the artist to create, with
oil-on-canvas, a fifteen-foot-wide painting that can be moved to
another location. The painting has been done on canvas which has
been stretched over a frame.
