Typical of his style, Jaubert has taken essentially a formal portrait and incorporated interesting aspects of the subject’s career into the background.  Marine Corps Colonel John Reeder, U.S.M.C. retired,  flew combat missions in World War II and Korea.  A portrait depicting someone’s accomplishments is the finest honor and recognition that can be bestowed on someone.
