The new hockey franchise in Lafayette, Louisiana chose artist Jack Jaubert to create an oil painting to commemorate the inaugural season of what was to become the most successful start for a minor-league hockey team in history.

Signed and numbered prints of the image were produced and successfully sold as
a fund-raiser for the Children’s Shelter of Acadiana.
