Officials for the Games chose Jack
Jaubert to produce a painting that would be used as the official
print for the Summer Games held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The
artist stated, Rather than have an event poster, as has been done
in the past, let's provide the competitors with a work of art;
something that would stand on its own as an image of what the games
are about and make a statement as to the beauty of South Louisiana.
